Eduvina La Condorita
As the daugther of the austrian sculptor Oswald Stimm I grew up in Buenos Aires in a great time in the 1950s and 1960s.That time, which was mainly shaped by the "Madi artist group," had a strong impact on my later life. So I am commited to the new, modern latin american consciousness as well as to the old european tradition.

After moving to Austria, I studied stage design at the Academy of Fine Arts in the early 1970's and have already traveled as hippies across Europe by train or hitchhiking. My "Diamonds and Pearls", my pictures, were always in my luggage. Wherever I was, in the respective country, I also exhibited. My work is like a never ending love affair, "alegria de vivir", "pure joy of life."

My love for nature and art brought me together with my husband. We married and lived an alternative life in the Waldviertel ( Countryside from Austria ) as a selfsufficient for almost ten years and repeatedly traveled to distant countries. This marriage resulted in two children.
All facets of cooperation were experienced and cratively implemented in the artistic work.

Showing joy in life has always been my most important message in my work.
We all live ,I think, in our own film every day ,directing it ourselves, and we set ourselves the only limits in this film.
We should strive to lead a good life and to respect and protect the earth like a mother like our baby.
Fairness is number one, everyone should be beaming with happiness and should always have enough money.
Always have enough time for yourself and your family.Always get what you need and always do what you like. And do so with love, gratitude and respect, with responsibility and compassion for the environment
and the nature that surrounds us.

I see my work as a painter as a beautiful love affair, and my pictures should reflect and radiate the joy that this love gives me.
The colors in my pictures come straight from my heart, they do not have their origin in rationality but basically shine through me onto the canvas and express the joy that fills me in my work.
I like to process the subjects of my works in the form of series, often in different media
( Painting Performance installations )
And what colors from the brightest pink, the most passionate orange, the deepest red,the most shimmering purple, the most iridescent green to the most delicate sky blue, the sweetest pink and the sunniest yellow-everything is there.
And everything is eros even the landscape. From daring to daring seductive to repellent, creeching to humming, beguiling to confusing, from limitless colorfulness to unrestrained statements about the possibilities of our life-my soul has always felt the urge to transfer colorfulness into the world.
I love this world as traveler.
I got the the inspiration for my pictures from adventurous journeys that have taken me to Indonesia,India,Papua New Guinea,Africa and South America, among others.

I live and work in Vienna. La Gomera in the Canary Islands,on the other hand,is the place where I love to paint, but also find inner peace.
The sun and the sea mean a lot to me and both of there are available on La Gomera happiness in abundance.
